Day One - First Blog Entry
What are your Technology Fears?

• Falling behind! I like to think that I'm pretty technology-literate, but I know my students will always be one step ahead when it comes to technology like I once was.
  
• Making sure I use technology in creative, engaging, but most importantly, educationally sound ways. For me, it seems too easy to get caught in the excitement of a new tool, but it should support what we are doing in class.

What are your expectations for this class, and what do you really want to take back to your classrooms?

I hope to find great ways to not only integrate technology in the classroom, but in finding ways for my students to use technology in order to understand more about what we talk about in class. When it comes to making music, a lot of emphasis gets placed on the final performance of any particular piece. What gets lost is the process and journey of getting music, learning it, and finally performing it! Also, I'm hoping to find an organized, eye-pleasing way to get information out to parents and students.
